We import our organic lavender from Provence France where it is EC certified. We’re really pleased with the quality and it has a great fragrance too.

Fragrant dried lavender
This is fragrant dried lavender at its best! These lavender grains are the same variety as our biggest seller and the only difference is the certified growing conditions. It has the same fabulous scent. Understandably the organic status makes it a little more expensive.
The pic above tells you a lot about our organic lavender. The EC certified organic sticker says that a product has been verified as meeting strict organic farming standards within the European Union. This means the product has been produced, processed, and handled according to specific regulations. The rules ensure environmental protection, biodiversity, and animal welfare.
The kilo pack size is our most popular amount and is enough for over 100 little 6cm by 8cm lavender bags. The pack is about the size of a football.
The bag one kilo is sent in (at time of writing) is 450 x 600mm and simply tied in a knot, meaning it can be used to store your lavender while you’re working your way through it. You can see in the pic that the bag is printed “I’m green / Carbon neutral / 100% recyclable”. These bags are made from green ethanol which is a by-product of sugar cane production (rather than the usual fossil fuels such as crude oil). The content of these bags is 95% renewable bio-based.
