The fragrance of lavender is associated with cleanliness and the oil’s often used in laundry and toiletry manufacture. Scientists have now proved that it’s relaxing too: lavender tea is a well known bedtime drink and it’s used in many calming products from pulse point scents to pillow mist.

You can use the oil neat or diluted depending on the circumstances but as ever beware allergies.

Pure lavender essential oil

Our lavender oil is 100% pure Lavandula Angustifolia and supplied in an amber glass bottle. It is produced in France via steam distillation of the flowering tips. We don’t sell it for food use.

We sell the oil in three different ways:

Aromatherapy uses of lavender oil

You could use this French Lavandula oil to enhance dried lavender as in the image above to make a potent relaxing bedroom potpourri or add the mixture to sleep pillows.

Other uses: you could add a couple of drops to the bath or put a some on a hanky for when you need it.
